An essential figure, both for the organization and the atmosphere.

Les Séries en Helvétie…

What a Story !

In July 2008, Rémy and Yves participated in the « Ballade du 60ème », organized by the French club « Le Temps des Séries » in England.
A packed program : a memorable visit to the Land Rover factory, the Billing Show, and a warm welcome by the OLLR club in the Peak District region. A reception that left a lasting impression and sparked some ideas…

On the way back, the seed was planted : we have stunning landscapes, a military training ground nearby, and understanding authorities.
Our friends back in Switzerland were thrilled with our project, and our authorities, both civil and military, supported us : Bravo!
Our first gathering was underway. The clubs « Le Temps des Séries » and « LROS, Land Rover of Switzerland » helped us from a distance with translations, advice, registrations, and much more. Thus, in July 2009, the first edition took place !

After this fantastic success, we couldn’t wait to do it again, and we decided to organize the event every two years.
The 2nd edition, in July 2011, welcomed 55 Series vehicles over the weekend and 87 for the Sunday photo, including 16 Series I.

Our event became international, attracting participants from France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and England.

Since 2014, we decided to alternate the event with the D-Days (Defender Days).
For a weekend, we welcome all models of the Land Rover range.
Good humor and conviviality are always part of the experience.
